The Time for Bonding

"V-Viola?!" Maya looked at her and helped her sit up so she could have a better look at her. Other people stopped channeling and came over to see if the girl was ok.

Then, it hit Maya that Viola must've accidently channeled Furio Tigre. there was no mistake. that tone of voice and 'language' was noticeable anywhere. She frowned and asked one of the women to get a glass of water for Viola for when she woke up.

It was obvious that Viola was still new at channeling, but even she was surprised when she managed to channel Furio. She layed out of it for about ten minutes before coming to again. "Maya?" She asked, her face showing a little more expression then it normally would.

"Viola! Are you ok?" Maya looked at her and smiled. "I'm glad you managed to channel someone, but you channeled Furio." She offered Viola the glass of water. Maya noticed that Viola's face had a little more expression than usual and smiled more.

She sat up returning to her expressionless state. She took the water and sipped some. "I apologize for channeling him. I was trying very hard, and I remembered one time Furio gave me advice."

"It's ok, at least you know how to channel now!" She grinned a cheesy smile. "What advise was that?"

"It was nothing. Although he was the first person who told me I could do anything if I put my mind to it." She sighed slightly and sat back up.

"Well, he's right. You can do anything if you put your mind to it." Maya continued to smile. She was a little surprised that someone like Furio would give advise like that.

She nodded and smiled. She got up and began to leave the building. That was enough training for her that day. She looked back and began to speak to herself. "Channeling...It's...frightening. I don't think...I've ever been so afraid in my life."

Maya soon followed her and in time caught up to Viola. "So, how was it? It's scary first time huh?" She smiled as they walked back to the Fey manor.

Viola nodded, feeling that she did not have to put up such a charade around Maya much anymore. Her face was still classically expressionless. Holding that expression for twenty years made it the default. Viola made her way to the manor and looks around. She was tired and occasionally yawned, but her expression never left her face. "So where are the beds, hmm?"

"We sleep on futons here. I hope you don't mind." Maya smiled nervously. "They're nice and warm as well as comfy though! They're just through here." She walked over to the other side of the room and opened a door where there were another 5 doors: one to each bedroom. "Pick a room!"

She nodded and walked into the one closest to the door. She walked over and opened it without a word. She closed it and locked it shut before uttering. "Goodnight Maya." She laid down on the futon and thought to herself.

Huh... I wonder what's wrong with Viola. It must've been the shock from earlier.

Maya shrugged and went off to get herself some tea before she went off to bed. The sun was just setting, and she was quite tired from the events of that day. Maya yawned, got her tea, then went off to her room to relax for a bit.

Since it was somewhat late that night, Viola had drifted off to sleep. She fell into a calming state. One she felt when channeling. She was dreaming of her old days at Tender Lender as she woke up abruptly. "Not dis place again. What the hell am I doin' here again?" 'Viola' tore open the door and looked around and left the room.

Maya woke to hear the door being slammed/torn open. She was scared that there was a burglar in the manor, so she moved slowly towards the door. Maya opened it carefully and peered outside. "V-viola? Are you ok?" The room was dark, but she could see a figure not too far from her.

The figured looked back at her with a furious look in her eyes once again. "Oh look, it's da girlie again. Where am I girlie? Well? Speak up already!"

Maya stared at the figure and stepped forward. "U-um... you're at the Fey manor in Kurain Village." It was clear she was scared because of the amount of fear in her voice. "And you are...?" By the sound and tone of the figure's voice, it was clear to her that it was Furio. But, she asked just in case.

Maya stepped backwards slightly and gulped. Even though he's using Viola's body, I'm still scared of him...

"You mean Phoenix Wright? Y-yeah, that's right." She coughed quietly. "Why's that?"

'Viola' walked towards Maya with her tongue flailing, much like Furio would be. She got up to Maya, face to face with an intimidating grin. 'Viola' lifted her arm and slapped Maya straight across the face, knocking her onto the floor. She turned away opening the door and pausing as Viola's spirit returned. Viola fell to the floor and returned to her state of sleeping.

Maya put her hand to her face and got up slowly. "O-ow..." then, she heard the noise of Viola falling on the floor. She got up, went over to her and sighed. What am I gonna do with you? She smiled, picked her up and put her back into the warm futon. She watched over her for a few minutes before heading back to her own room.

Why does she keep channeling Furio? He only causes trouble...

Viola had no idea that she was channeling her at that time. She was asleep and remained it throughout the entire process. She slept soundly the rest of the night, and didn't wake up in the morning with everyone else. She was a late and heavy sleeper.

When Maya woke up, she was surprised not to see Viola awake as well. She shrugged it off, thinking that Viola was probably a heavy sleeper. The time was 8am, so Maya decided to give another hour whilst she ate her breakfast. If Viola didn't wake up within that hour, Maya would go and wake her up herself.

She had a rough plan for the day ahead, one of them practicing channeling. But, since Maya decided what they did yesterday she thought it would be fair if she let Viola decide what to do.

Viola remained asleep. She was used to the shouting of Furio to wake her, for another day at work. She laid asleep until Maya got back to the futons. She was indeed a heavy sleeper, since it took Maya a while to manage to get her out of bed.

"Viola, hey viola!" Maya shook Viola slightly. "It's time to get up Viola!" She smiled as Viola opened her eyes. "How'd you sleep?" She decided not to bring up the fact that she had accidently channeled Furio while she was asleep. Maya was only going to talk about it if Viola brought it up.
