Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
"Of course I knew that," Iris followed him. "Who was it? Did anyone get hurt? Why did they do such a thing?!"
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
"I...dont necessarily know all the details to be honest...I was" Don't say smooching Franziska "I was...I was in the bathroom. If I knew anything else I'd tell you, I really would." He took his time and walked across the bridge. He knew Mr. Wrights story, and didn't want it to happen to him.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Iris watched him leave, then hurried back to her package. She re-read the letter several times, then picked up the box and carried it to her room. She knew Morgan Fey couldn't do anything as long as she was locked up, so she ignored everything.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Godot stepped off the bus, glad for his warm coat. He took a sip of coffee from his travel thermos as he scanned the area. He'd told Mia he wasn't coming, but if her premonition was right, he didn't want to have hanging over him the fact that he could have done something. Besides, he had nothing better to do today. He decided he'd walk around a bit, scope things out, and not immediately look for Mia and her sister.

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
While in her room, Iris's cell phone rang, and she answered it. "Hello, this is Iris."
"Ah, hello, Ms. Hawthorne. My name is unimportant, but I have a message from you from my client. She says you have until Tuesday to carry out the plans, or else Mr. Wright will be taking another swim in Eagle River," said a friendly voice from the other end.
"What?!" Iris gasped. "Who is this? Why are you doing this?" But the caller had already hung up. Trying not to cry, she flung down on her bed in despair.

Since Iris had gone up past him, he finally cross over the bridge once again. He quickly made his way back to the main hall, since his hair horns had already become Popsicle's, and he was next. Before stepping into his room he heard a faint noise and made his way to Iris' room. "Iris? Is something wrong? Did I say something on the bridge?"
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
As he passed a room, Godot heard an oddly familiar voice, and something had clearly horrified her. Godot hesitated for a moment, not entirely sure where the boundaries were at this place, but he went ahead and knocked on the door. "Are you okay in there?" he asked, raising his voice to be heard through the door.

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Iris squeaked in surprise, and straightened up immediately. She crossed over to her door, and pulled it open to find Godot. "Oh, hello Mr. Godot," she gave him a forced smile. "I'm fine, thank you for inquiring." She looked at Apollo behind him. "No, Mr. Justice, it was nothing you said. It's nothing, honestly." Inside, she was dying to tell them of her mother's latest plan, but was terrified of what would happen to Phoenix if she did.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Iris's face unsettled Godot, but it wasn't her fault she had a twin like Dahlia. He also wasn't buying her act. He knew what he heard. "A conversation on the bridge, eh?" he inquired, looking from her to Apollo. That most likely wasn't what was upsetting, but the more she talked, the more likely she was to spill.

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Iris's jaw tightened. "I was just asking about Mr. Wright, it was nothing, Mr. Godot." She shot Apollo a look, imploring him not to say anything else. Her heart was breaking that she had to deceive these two men, but if she didn't...much more was at stake.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
"How is Phoenix doing?" Godot asked Apollo, refusing to let the conversation end. "I haven't seen him for some time."

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
He looked over to Iris, getting her message of loose lips. "Mr. Wright? Well, he's fine. You can visit him on your way back home, right Mr. Armando?" He looked back over at Iris. Her eyes were similar to Dahlia's, but they had a softer presence.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Godot crossed his arms and smiled at the two of them. "Well, it's good to hear that everything's just fine. I'd hate for something to be amiss." He was going to get to the bottom of what was eating at Iris. Mia's worry from the other night was starting to seem more valid...

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
"If you'll excuse me, gentlemen, I have to go ring the lights-out bell," Iris left her room, brushing past Godot and Apollo. She had pushed the package from Morgan under her bed, hidden safely from prying eyes.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
He watched her pass by the two and looked up at Godot- "I guess that means I'm done for the day. Goodnight Mr. Armando." He squeezed out the door as well and headed down the opposite way of Iris, opening a door far away and walking in.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Godot watched her go, a muscle jumping in his jaw. "Something's up," he said to Apollo, his voice low. "Mia had a bad feeling about coming up here, and now Iris is hiding something." He looked Apollo over and took note of his uniform. "What exactly did you bring up here?"

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Apollos door was quietly shut as it was apparent that he had already entered his room. The hallway was quiet, Godot being the only person there. Iris would most likely return shortly to go to bed herself.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Godot realized he was talking to himself. Swearing under his breath, he turned towards Iris's room. He didn't need Apollo to figure out what was going on. Defense attorneys sucked at investigating anyway.
Iris had left her door ajar, and Godot gently pushed it open a bit further, carefully padding into her room. The decor was Spartan, as was to be expected from a nun. Nothing seemed amiss in her drawers. (Though, to be honest, he hadn't searched her underwear drawer very thoroughly.) On the far side of her bed, however, a box was protruding slightly, as though it'd been pushed too hard from the side near the door.
Godot knelt and examined it more carefully. By the logo on the box, it was clearly the package Apollo had delivered earlier. Now, what was in it...

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Iris rushed to the bell, hoping nobody went through her room. Especially not the package from her mother, with a new staff. Except this staff also contained a sword, very similar to Mystic Misty's staff. She swallowed nervously as she rang the bell.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Mia had been right, something rotten was going on. Godot slid the sword back into the staff as the bell rang. Taking that as his cue, he stashed the box back where he'd found it and stole out of the room.
This raised so many questions. What was the weapon for? Who had sent it? (That was a rather short list of suspects.) Who was the target? Right now, Godot just wanted to find Mia.

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Iris was coming down the hall just in time to see a shadow steal down the corridor, but she didn't think much of it. Sighing heavily, she knew where Mia and Maya were both training, and she had acquired the combination for the lock from Sister Bikini. She knew what must be done. This last plan had to go flawlessly, lest more innocent people die in the process.
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
Snow crunched under Godot's feet as he crossed a courtyard. He knew that Mia and Maya were training, but he had no idea where. That was when he saw Sister Bikini. "Excuse me!" he called merrily, angling his course towards her. "Sister! I'm looking for Mia and her sister. Could you perhaps point me in the right direction?"

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
The plump woman looked up at him. "Hello, Godot. Mia and Maya are both undergoing the Special Course in the Sacred Cavern. I'm afraid no one other than myself and Iris are allowed to go near there. We mustn't interrupt them." She smiled at him. "Come on back to the Main Hall with me, I'll make us some warm coffee!"
Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
"A tempting offer," Godot smiled in return, "but I'm afraid I must decline. I'd rather wait for them outside the training room. I promise I won't disturb them."

Re: A chilly day at Hazakurain
"Mr. Godot," Sister Bikini looked stern for once. "Nothing will happen to them while they're in there. Only myself and Iris know the combination to the lock. I promise they're safe. If you're so worried, I'll get Iris to guard the Sacred Cavern."
