The Time for Bonding

She nodded, but couldn't help looking around. "Maya, was it. Please listen to me, carefully. I think...I've been here before. A long...long time ago." She said, trying to remember the contents of her past.

"H-huh? You've been here before?" Maya had already got some bandages with her, so she began to wrap them around Viola's head carefully.

"I...feel like this place has made quite an impact on my life...do you think...I've been here before? Can you check any records of past family's that have lived here?"

"Um... sure." Maya thought it was a strange request, but she ran off to get the records.

After a while, she returned and handed them over to Viola. "Here. Please be careful, they're quite old."

She passed through them slowly, and because I'm too tired to do lots of backstory she found out that she might have been a child to a dying part of the Fey clan maybe? It's not up to me to decide that but it'd make a cool idea, so yeah, does it happen, you decide.

(She wanted me to ask if that was okay...its up to Maya and Mia or whatever)

She looked at the records with Viola and stared in shock. It turns out, Viola was from a dying part of the Fey clan that was long forgotten. "T-this.. this is impossible."

"I'm not certain how this could be. Perhaps...this is why I never knew either of my parents. My grandfather was the sole figure in my life..." Viola was somewhat in shock over the new discovery.

"Maybe..." Maya thought for a moment and smiled. "shall we tell Mia and Pearls? They'd be happy if they found out we had another member of the family!"

"I don't think I want to be affiliated with the Fey name. I don't know how to channel, and I have not been here for over twenty years." She said, turning her head to the wind.

"Well, maybe you could practice channeling here?" Maya continued to smile. "It won't be hard or anything..." Her eyes were bright and full with color.

"I don't know how to begin. I don't believe I need to either. But if you must be so insistent." She nodded, getting up.

"Are you sure you're ok now though? I don't want you getting hurt while doing it." Maya out her hand on Viola's shoulder.

"I'm certain." She stood up. "So where exactly do first-timers meet in this place. Unfortunately, all of the buildings aren't recognizable."

"Just follow me!" Maya guided Viola to a small building. "Here. This is where we train. If you just stay with me and copy I'm sure you'll be fine!"

Viola felt, very awkward doing something like this, but if this is what her mother did, then she was going to do it as well. With Tigre gone, and Bruto aging even more, she was losing things to grasp onto in life. This was just another one of those things.

"Ok Viola," Maya sat down with her legs crossed next to young girl, not much older than the age of 13. "Just copy me and the other people in this hall and you'll be fine. Just, try not to concentrate too much because of your head though."

She looked over at Maya and nodded. This bonding must have gotten to her because for the first time in a while, a genuine smile brightened her face. "I will follow after you as best I can."

Maya smiled. "Ok! You'll get the hang of it soon, don't worry."

Maya then closed her eyes and began to focus on channeling.

Viola tried her best to copy whatever Maya was doing. She would occasionally latch onto her head with her two hands, but didn't make a noise, and soon later continued to mimic Maya.

After a while, Maya looked over at Viola and saw that she was latching onto her head. "Viola," Her voice was quiet so she didn't disturb the others who were channeling. "If it hurts, then don't put yourself through pain. If you want we can take a little break."

Viola knew that in a couple of years, channeling might be the only thing she had left, so she declined. "Please. I can handle this. Go on with your training."

"Fine... but if it gets TOO much you need to tell me, ok?" Maya smiled. By now, most of the people in the hall had channeled someone and were relaxing. Maya closed her eyes and started to focus again.

Voila had actually achieved the state of being able to channel someone, but no one came to mind. She thought about it, and finally channeled the first person who came to her mind. "Wuzzat!" 'Voila' stood up, she walked around a little in a flaunting mannor. "Where the hell am I. Can any 'a you idiots tell me where I am, huh?"

Maya managed to channel a young girl, but she stopped after she heard Viola's 'voice'. "V-viola? Are you ok? You seem... different."

"Viola huh. Haven't heard that name since I was done in. Now listen up girlie, you gotta tell me where I am...or so help me. 'Viola moved her fist up and back as the color came back into her eyes. She was unstable for a moment and fell to the side of Maya, once again unconscious.
