Apollo was staring at the door, waiting for it to open as he fixed his tie. He spent the night looking at his bracelet. Now that he knew there was someone else who could perform in court like he could, it would be an entirely different case. So far, he had no ideas of who could have done it. He had a motive for just about anyone, but Mr. Bunt was his best lead.

The doors open as Sonata walks to Apollo, as they enter the courtroom.
"Hello Mr. Justice. Good Luck in the court today. You'll need it." Sonata chuckled. The two of them entered.
The Judge stood before them. "Court is now in session. Is the Prosecution ready?"
"The Prosecution is ready, your honor."
"Good, and the Defense?"

Apollo was lost this morning. He decided to stop paying attention to his bracelet and get his head in the game. He fastened the bracelet onto his wrist and cleared his throat.

"The defence is ready, Your Honor."

Sonata interrupted. "I notice how you just fastened your bracelet just now. I would not rely on it too much against me."

"Wait... is this bracelet of yours, Mr. Justice, a good luck charm or something?"

(Brown is Sonata talking. Black is Judge)

My bracelet? Don't tell me...! Is playing with my bracelet my twitch? Did she figure it out so quickly!? I didn't even know! I have to figure her's out, quick!

"I suppose, Your Honor." Apollo ran his fingers over his hair horns and down the back of his head. "It's kinda like your gavel..."

"Oh." The judge clears his throat. "Yes, very well then. Ms. Baad. If you would please give the court details on this case."
"Yes, Your Honor. This trial is for a cafe owner, Oscar Fournier. He suffered several stab wounds in the kitchen of his cafe, causing his death. Police then had arrested Frederick Bell, the cafe's bellboy, as a suspect in the murder."

AUTOPSY REPORT ADDED TO THE COURT RECORD

"I see... Ms. Baad, you may call your first witness."
"Yes, Your Honor. The Prosecution calls detective Ema Skye to the stand."

Ema proceeded to the stand. "Witness, please state your name and occupation."

"My name is Ema Skye. I'm a scientific detective for the police force."
Great, I'm being cross examined by Polly... Man, I hate being up here...

Ema!? I thought for sure they were going to pull up Mr. Bunt...They must be saving him. Ms. Baad's probably got this one all figured out already. Just what traps has she set for me?

"Alright...I guess it's cross examination time?"

"Witness, your testimony please."

"Investigation."

"Me and 'a friend' were out to dinner, when suddenly we heard a commotion in the kitchen.
We rushed in, hoping to see if someone had merely fell, but it was much more than that.
Before us, we saw the body of Mr. Fournier.
When we called the police to help me investigate, it was around... about 11:00 pm.
I then proceeded to investigate the crime scene."

Would Ema really lie? Maybe she was just confused.

HOLD IT!

"Uh...Ema..." Apollo rubbed the back of his head. "I'm pretty sure it was around midnight, actually..."

"Oh... heh. Yeah... I guess it kinda was around midnight... Sorry."
The Judge then cuts in.
"Wait... THE DEFENSE AND THE WITNESS WERE OUT TOGETHER? AS IN... A DATE?!" The court murmurs.

"A-Ack!" Apollo slumped over, as did his hair horns. He began to sweat furiously.

"A-Actually...Your Honor...we..."

"We were just having a polite dinner as friends, Your Honor."
Sonata cut in.

"Or maybe the real killers were the defense and witness..."
The Ballif then interrupted "Umm, Ms. Baad. Police took the two in for questioning. We also had a report of all of the check-ins to the cafe. These two were just having dinner."
Sonata began to sweat frantically. "Oh... I was not given this information before the case had begun..."

Apollo regained his stance and shook his head back a forth. "Ms. Baad! I fail to see what Ema has to do with this case! Anything she saw, I can tell you, easily. I know the prosecution had more witnesses!"

"Why doesn't the Defense call up a witness then? Lets see if they can think of someone more suited to testify!"
I'm almost certian hes going to call up him...
Ema suddenly glared at Sonata.
"O-Ok then... Mr. Justice, You may call a witness...(?)" The Judge seemed suprised on Ms. Baad's request.

"W-Wha!? M-Me?!" Apollo recoiled as his jaw dropped open. This was something new to him.

I-I thought it was the prosecutors job...! But...if I've got the chance, I think I'd like to question Mr. Bunt some more. He WAS working that night.

Apollo pointed his index finger of justice towards the witnesses stand. "The defence calls Mr. Sesam E. Bunt to the stand!"

"Just as I suspected, Hair Horns." A look of confidence appeared on Sonata's face.
"Unfortunately, Mr. Bunt was not able to attend the trial today, as he was injured yesterday. So I'm afraid you'll have to call another witness."

"I-Injured?" Apollo's finger recoiled. "How was he injured?" Apollo began to sweat once again.

At least the other people tried to be consistent with their name-calling. It's like she's not even trying...I miss the times where I was Polly...

Way to go, Apollo...at least that's one less trap to fall into...now to get out of this one... Apollo stood up straight again, hoping for an answer.

"Mr. Bunt was hit by a car last night, walking home from a stroll. He's currently in the Hospital, Recovering." Sonata couldn't help but smirk.

So...who do I call then...? I can't think of anyone else...! I don't need to ask anything else to the bellboy...

"Uh...objection withdrawn, Your Honor... Go on with the testimony Ema..."

"Investigation Part: II"

"So as I was saying... We were investigating.
We found several things that could relate to the case.
I have supplied the Prosecution and Defense each of these items.
I decided to do some investigation with the police the morning after the murder.
I didn't really find anything of use, all but one thing.
And that's all I found and did in my investigations."

She didn't mention what she found? If the thing she found can hurt my case, she might be hiding it...for my own good. But I have to know what it is, no matter what.

HOLD IT!

"Ema...what exactly did you find? And uh...where?"

"I found this. In his office." Ema showed a crowbar, bent on one side. It was found behind the safe we saw."
The Judge looked at it astoundingly. "This crowbar... was found behind a safe? As in money safe? Was there a robbery?!"
