High Noon at Gatewater Land

"Ms. von Karma!" Mia was shocked. "You can't kick the poor man while he's down!" She helped Phoenix up gingerly, and embraced him in a tight hug. "It'll be alright, Phoenix."

Phoenix nodded and hugged Mia tight, trying not to cry anymore. "Thanks, Chief. Can we go home now? I can't stand being here any more, knowing that I lost my Edgey forever!"

(OOC: I feel like Edgeworth needs to post now that his presence has been revealed and his mouth is uncovered.)

He mosey'd on into the scene with a hat of his own, he glared at the prosecutor before blinking to see the scene at hand. "I thought we were doing this at 12: 30? How late am I?" He sighed and continued to watch the scene.

"Polly," Phoenix wailed loudly into Mia's shoulder, "The fight's over! Franziska won, and now I'm spikeless and loveless! I WANT MY EDGEY BAAAAACK!"

He looked over at Phoenix and sighed as his face pilled up with sweat and his hair horns bent down, causing the hat to fall off. Eh...well, there's plenty of other...suit wearing prosecutors in sea.

I'm supposed to take off of that...

"No there's not!" Phoenix sniffed. "There's just Payne...and Godot!" He wiped his eyes. "Yeah, maybe you're right, Apollo!" He began to run off in search of Godot.

"FOOL!" Franziska screamed, snapping her whip futilely. "SKIRT SUITS COUNT AS WELL!" Enraged, she turned on the boy, whipping him mercilessly.

Mia grabbed the back of Phoenix's jacket, glowering. "Excuse me, Phoenix, but Godot is mine," she growled. "You go near my boyfriend, and all hell will break loose. I will let Dahlia possess me while you're around!"

"Yeowch!" He moved his arms in the way of his face, he saw what happened to Phoenix's hair spikes, and wouldn't even dare let anything happen to his hair horn. "Not the face! Not the hair!" Anything but the face or the hair!"

Oooooh, now I see how I take off of him...

"Sorry, Chief," Phoenix looked sheepish. "Just...I'm having a hard time adjusting...without my hair...and Miles." He glared at Franziska evilly.

"MEN!" Franzi shrieked, stamping her foot in frustration. "FOOLISH FOOLS WHO CARE ONLY FOR FOOLISHLY FOOLISH THINGS LIKE FOOLISH HAIR STYLES!" Storming off, she grabbed Mia by her collar. "COME, MIA FEY, WE ARE LEAVING THESE FOOLS."

"What?!" Mia let Franziska drag her away. "Where are you taking me?! Phoenix, if you don't see me at the office tomorrow, CALL THE POLICE!"

"Chief!" Phoenix grabbed Mia's arm. "Don't leave me! I NEED YOU TO COMFORT ME!"

Apollo meanwhile was off, thinking of an old west movie he watched last night. He used his thumb and index finger like a gun and fired at all three while making a 'pew pew' noise after every shot. Realizing some very important dialogue was in progress he watched as they played tug-of-war with Mia's body. He set himself up with a lawn chair and some popcorn and enjoyed the show.

"Mine!" Phoenix pulled Mia towards him. "I need her to comfort me in my time of need!"

Franzi pulled back on Mia's other arm. "WELL I'VE DECIDED THAT MEN AREN'T WORTHY OF COMFORTS. I'M TAKING HER WITH ME, AND I'M TAKING MILES, TOO. I'LL JUST THROW HIM IN THE BASEMENT."

"NO," Phoenix roared. "YOU TOOK MY BOYFRIEND, AND MY HAIR. YOU CAN'T TAKE MY BEST FRIEND, TOO. SHE'S ALL I HAVE LEFT."

He dropped his popcorn in awe. "Ouch Mr. Wright...ouch." He sighed, looking around for a remote. "And why is this scene so loud?"

"Oh..sorry, Polly!" Phoenix smiled sheepishly. "Just...it's MIA. YOU CAN'T BE BETTER THAN TALKING BOOBS THE CHIEF!"

Roaring, Franzi shoved her heel into Phoenix's face. "SEXIST FOOLISH PIG!"

"Ah!" Phoenix yelped, grabbing Mia tighter to him. "YOU STILL CAN'T TAKE MIA! SHE'S MINE! I NEED COMFORT!"

Mia sighed, and just let them quarrel amongst themselves, glaring at Phoenix for the talking boobs comment. "IS THAT ALL I AM TO YOU PEOPLE?!"
