Not Alone

"She won't," Phoenix smiled and kissed Miles again softly. "Wanna, um, take this to my bedroom?" He blushed furiously.

Miles blushed as well, though not nearly as much as Phoenix. "I thought you'd never ask." He tried to regain his composure and suave demeanor. "Would you care to lead the way?"

"Of course," Phoenix got up and took Edgeworth's hand, and led him down to the hallway towards his bedroom. "Have you ever....y'know...?" Phoenix fumbled for words awkwardly.

"If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, no." Miles shyly looked away. "From what I can tell, I've never been... desirable in that area of life."

"You are to me," Phoenix said gently as he kissed him lightly. His arms went around Miles' waist, holding him tight. "And you always will be," he murmured.

Miles' knees went weak at the sudden charm coming from Phoenix. With one burst of energy he jumped onto Phoenix and began making out with him. Something about his charm sent Miles into a love frenzy.

Phoenix moaned in surprise as they sank onto the floor, holding each other tightly. He kissed Miles back just as passionately. "M-Miles?" he gasped between kisses. "What's gotten into you??"

Miles didn't answer. He was completely overtaken by repressed sexual drive. He continued kissing Phoenix while slipping his thumb down the waistband of his pants.

Phoenix moaned, and began to undress Miles, still kissing back feverishly. "Miles," he asked against Miles' lips, "Are you sure you want to do this with me?"

Miles came to his senses for a moment. He looked Phoenix up and down, seeing his flushed face and drops of sweat showing up on his face and his pants halfway off. "Absolutely."

"Miles," Phoenix kissed him lightly. "I think I...nevermind...it's too soon." He continued to kiss Edgeworth lightly, moving down to his neck.

Miles pulled away from Phoenix for a moment to remove the younger mans pants. He looked up at Phoenix for a second. "You ok with this?"

"Of course I am," Phoenix smiled shyly. "I want you, Miles. More than I've wanted any woman."

Mia let herself into Phoenix's apartment, knowing he must be lonely ever since Maya went to Kurain. "Phoenix?" she called out softly. "Maybe he's in bed already," she murmured aloud. She padded over to the bedroom, and opened the door, "Phoenix? OH DEAR GOD!" She wailed at the sight, Phoenix and Miles both lying on the floor, sweaty and flushed.

"CHIEF!" Phoenix yelled in shock. "Wh-what are you doing here?!!?" He pulled Miles closer to him to shield himself. "You're supposed to be at the office!"

Miles slowly turned his head and indeed saw Mia Fey in the doorway. "EH?! M-Ms. Fey?! What are you... Have you no manners? Knock before you enter a room! Especially a bedroom!"

Mia stared at him in disbelief. "SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU TWO BEEN DOING THE NASTY!?" She averted her eyes. "Ugh! I mean, I'm not against gays, oh no, but you TWO?! What about Iris, Phoenix??"

"Wait, who's Iris?" Miles turned and looked at Phoenix, slightly hurt. "Is this... Are you just toying with me?"

"No! I love you, Miles!" Phoenix blurted out. "I honestly would never do anything to hurt you...Iris was during my college years...Hell, I didn't even know it was her until about four years later. And she's related to Satan."

"Eh? You... do?" Miles got a small smile on his face. It's not every day someone confesses their love to him, let alone right after they were about to 'do the nasty', as Mia stated.

Phoenix nodded seriously. "Miles Edgeworth, you are amazing, and I love you!" He kissed him passionately, holding him close, temporarily forgetting about Mia.

Miles was shocked at the kiss and declaration but returned the kiss and embrace with equal amounts of energy. 'Who would have thought... a random phone call turned into... love...!'

Phoenix continued to kiss Edgeworth lovingly. "Now, Mr. Edgeworth, based on the evidence provided, can you still come to the conclusion that I'm just toying with you?"

"The prosecution chooses to throw out that tiny bit of the testimony as baseless conjecture." Miles smirked as the pair continued to kiss on the floor.

"Oh, great," Mia closed the door, trying not to be sick. "I need Diego. WHERE IS HE WHEN I NEED HIM." She stormed back to her own apartment, alone for the night.
