Magic is Friendship!

"Hey Polly!" Trucy called out cheerfully as she entered the Wright Anything Agency. "Will you come attend my show tomorrow?? It's tomorrow evening!"

He looked back with a sigh and poked his forehead for a moment. He smiled and stood up, looking back at her. He rubbed the back of his head and brushed over his horns as he spoke. "Hey, well, you caught me at a bad time tonight...Mr. Wright's got me working day and night on a really important case."

Trucy pouted, "Come ON, Polly! It's my first show ever at the WonderBar! Would you really miss that for a silly case?" Her eyes teared up in sadness.

"What? You've been going to the bar for a couple of months now, haven't you?" He looked at her curiously.

"No, I was working at a senior center," Trucy reminded him. "But then they didn't like my Mr. Hat trick so much..." She sighed. It seemed like not many people liked magic anymore, so she was reduced to working at bars. "I still don't know why, though...I thought it was a good trick."

"Right, I doubt that old people enjoy a teenager pulling things out of her shorts." He walked over to her and sighed. "Okay, you know I'd go if Mr. Wright wasn't working me so hard."

"Can't you go at least for half an hour?" Trucy was trying not to cry. "Is it because my magic is no good?"

He began to sweat as his hair horns bent down. "Well...I mean, half an hour's not very long, but, we've gotta think about those clients, right?"

She's trying to guilt you into this Justice...and it's working too.

"It's just a half hour..." Trucy flopped down on the couch, her face buried in her hands. "If my magic's that terrible, you should just tell me!"

He began to sweat more and sat next to her on the couch, patting her shoulder. "N-No! Trucy, don't cry. Your magic is amazing, I...just, I mean, the case, remember?"

Justice, you are one horrible human being...

Trucy let out a small sob, "No, I get it. The great Ace Attorney Apollo Justice has no time for his little sister, who's done nothing but look up to her big brother! It's fine, Polly." She got up and ran to her room.

He followed her and smashed into the incoming door. Smooooooth, Justice He knocked on the door. "Hey? Trucy? I'm...really sorry. Can you listen to me for a sec? I...didn't mean to make you cry or anything."

Trucy was sitting on her bed forlornly, having locked her door from the inside. "Of course you didn't, Polly. You don't have to explain yourself. I know how bad my magic is. I'll just stay in here practicing my magic until tomorrow evening."

He sighed and began to sweat even more. The guilt was taking over his body. He took a pen and a piece of paper and scribbled some things on it. He knocked on her door and slipped the pieces of paper under the door. He said nothing and went to watch television.

Trucy noticed the paper, and picked it up, curious as to what it read. She wiped the tears from her eyes so she could see the paper more clearly.

The paper was divided into six sections. They were each sliced into rectangles, each said "Good for one free show with your brother." The 'coupons' were referencing her upcoming shows. Apollo kept looking back at the door while he was watching the television, hoping the tickets would cheer her up a little bit.

She read the coupons, and gave out a small gasp of surprise. Trucy unlocked her door, and bounded out of her room to give Apollo a big hug. "You're the best, Apollo!" she smiled, the coupons still clutched in her hand.

He smiled back to her and hugged her back. "Hey...you're the best too Trucy. You've helped me time and time again, and I always...for some reason can't make it to your shows. You can use one of those any time you want, no matter when, and no matter whats going on."

This is going to bite you in the ass Justice. But...it's worth it to see her face I guess...

Trucy grinned. "Awesome!" She handed a ticket to Apollo. "Polly....will you come to my first WonderBar show tomorrow?"

He looked down at the coupon, still with a smile on his face. He ripped off a coupon and stuck it in his pocket. "As long as you're okay with using one of them."

Trucy nodded. "It's my first ever show at the WonderBar! I gotta have my big brother there!" She smiled at him and gave him another hug. "Now I really gotta practice my magic!" She sped back to her bedroom happily.

He smiled and watched her run off to her room. "I'll let you practice alone, you don't wanna ruin it." He said as his attention returned to the television. He put his hands behind his head and put his legs up.

You're the man, Justice.

Phoenix entered the agency, humming happily. He'd been ecstatic ever since they finished the Ron DeLite case earlier that day. He noticed Apollo, and smiled at him. "Hey, Apollo! How's it going?"

"Actually. Things couldn't be better. Trucy's in her room practicing her magic, so 'do not disturb.'" He got up from the couch to greet Phoenix properly. "So, how've you been Mr. Wright? How was the case?"

"It was easy, I got him off," Phoenix's smile widened. "What have you been up to, Apollo?"
