A girl who Phoenix was quite familiar with bumped into them on her way to a delivery. The girl looked over to Phoenix with a smile and saluted him. It was a girl he met long ago and defended, Maggey. "Oh! Hello Mr. Wright!"

"Hi, Maggey!" Phoenix greeted her in surprise. "Whatcha doing here, at this delivery office? I thought you were working as a security guard?"

"Well...ever since Detective Gumshoe has been living at my house, I've been trying to save up a little extra money for him, sir! So I'm a delivery girl during the day, and a security guard at night!" She smiled with another salute.

"Gumshoe's...living...with you?" Phoenix tried to wrap his head around it. 'Either he's so destitute that he got kicked out of his cardboard box, or they're now seeing each other...'

"You bet, sir!" She saluted once more. He just showed up one night on my doorstep! He had some of the flowers I was growing in his hand and gave them to me. I'm letting him stay until he gets back on his feet! That's why I'm trying to make more money!"

"I don't know sir. But it's nice to see you." She turned her attention to the girl. "Maya? What did you do to your hair? And your outfit?O-Oh well! I have to run pretty soon. I'm carrying some expensive things!"

"Trucy, she's Maggey Byrde, I've had to defend her in court," Phoenix explained. "And Gumshoe is a detective down at the precinct."

Maggey's jaw dropped as she threw her arms in the air. "DADDY!? Mr. Wright! You have a daughter!?" She looked in awe as the box she was carrying landed and the contents shattered. She turned back in even more awe. "Bad luck again...I've got to go before I get in any more trouble, sir!" She saluted him one last time before picking up the box and running off into the building.

Phoenix laughed at Maggey's reaction which had become typical of those who learned of Trucy. He loved the shock they always seemed to exude, he found it amusing. "C'mon, Truce, Apollo's not here. We should comb the city over." They left the delivery office in search of Polly.

Klavier was walking about the town when he suddenly saw two familiar faces. "Hey! Fräulein! Herr Wright!" He ran up to them and grinned.
