Magic is Friendship!

"Not much, laying around, watching some television. I was gonna order something soon, we don't have much around here." He rubbed the back of his head. He was dying to tell Phoenix about the 'coupons' and such.

Alright Justice, don't get a swell head, you'd have to grow your hair even more to get the horns just right.

Phoenix nodded, "Wanna order some Chinese takeout?" After some thought, he added, "Are you going to go see Trucy at the WonderBar tomorrow?"

"Chinese sounds great, and, as a matter of fact, yeah, I'm going to see her tomorrow." He said while tossing Phoenix the phone. "Call them up."

Phoenix dialed the Chinese restaurant down the street and placed the order. He hung up the phone, "It'll be ready in an hour-ish. Do you wanna go get it?" He looked around for Trucy, and not seeing her, added in an undertone, "How did she sucker you into going tomorrow?"

He rubbed the back of he head with a stupid grin. "C'mon, can't a big brother do something nice for his little sis?" He asked, nodding at the offer to retrieve the food. "If you wanna let her know you stopped by, she's in her room."

"Sure thing," Phoenix stayed where he was. He knew far too well not to interrupt Trucy when she was practicing. He knew she wasn't afraid to hit anything and everything that disturbed her with her magic wand. He winced slightly at the memories.

His smile turned to fear for a moment, as he spoke a little lower, so Trucy couldn't hear."So...Mr. Wright? What exactly does she do during her shows? It's not just panties and the wooden hat guy, is it?"

Phoenix shook his head, chuckling, "Oh no, Trucy's picked up a few Gramarye tricks, she can shoot a cat out of a gun. Don't ask me how, though." He shrugged. "And she does other things, too, I think."

"Oh, well, I guess I'm in for quite a show then." He returned to the couch and plopped himself back down. "She's not trying the cat thing in her room, is she?" He looked back worried.

A gun shot sounded through the house, followed by a loud, angry meow, which resulted in Trucy wailing. "No, Bullet! Don't scratch me!" She ran out into the living room, covered in scratches.

Phoenix jumped up and immediately ran for the first aid kit. "Bullet still not cooperating?" He chuckled as he cleaned up Trucy's injuries. "Don't worry, they're little scratches. They won't show up on stage."

Trucy smiled. "Really?? That's great! Thanks, Daddy!" She gave him a hug, then flew back to her room once her scratches were all cleaned.

Apollo was astounded throughout the entire scenario with his head pulled back and his jaw hanging open like an idiot.

Is...that supposed to happen? Eh. As long as they're doing it as a family I guess it's alright.

Phoenix laughed as he saw the expression on Apollo's face. "Obviously, you haven't been around long enough, Mr. Justice," he joked, putting away the first aid kit.

"I guess I'm still getting used to this whole crazy set-up, huh. I just...Mr. Wright, why don't you go out to a field or something you can practice that in?"

And I thought the holes in the wall were from Trucy, punching.

Phoenix shrugged. "Trucy is paranoid that someone is going to steal all of her tricks, so she won't practice anywhere but her bedroom. I've tried to get her to a more open area, but she won't practice there."

"She wont...let you rent out a gymnasium or something? Some place where she can be alone, and still have more space?"

Look at yourself Justice! You're turning into Maya!

Phoenix shook his head. "The girl's persistent. She takes after her father."

"I guess she does, kinda. She has the outward imagination, its true. But did you know she had the audacity to call a ladder a step-ladder? I've tried time and time again to explain it to her..." He sighed.

Phoenix groaned. "Where did she pick that up? Even Chief says it's a stepladder! But it's clearly a ladder!"

He sighed, poking the middle of his forehead. "Sometimes I just try to forget about it, the issue might go away if we stop bringing it up."

Phoenix shook his head. "Maybe you're right, Apollo. I'm starting to get a headache just thinking about it."

"I just hope we don't hear any more gun shots from her room. I'm pretty sure that cat has had enough for one day. Then again, Justice. Know what Mr. Wright, I'm going to go pick up that food now." He scurried out of the building towards the Chinese place.

"Alright, Justice," Phoenix smiled and turned on the Steel Samurai. "Hopefully Trucy doesn't blow up the place."

"Right." He nods as he begins to make his way down to the restoraunt. He passed by many stores, and no matter how far away he was, he always looked back to make sure that the agency was still in one piece.
