Re: An Average Day At Work
He set the case down and made his way back into the room, he knew that there was no way he could lie to Mr. Wright, not with the magatama close at hand. "Mr. Wright...about the chip...I...sort of already told Trucy about it...before you told me not to." He smiled although he was overcome by fear.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"How did you manage to do that?" Phoenix looked curiously at Apollo. "I mean, isn't she at school? And you've been here the whole time..."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Oh, it's real simple." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small cellular telephone. "I spoke to Ema a while ago, and in exchange for trying out some of her tests, she gave Trucy and I a cellphone. At first it was just a joke, but, then you told me not to tell her...
Re: An Average Day At Work
Phoenix sighed, "Apollo. I trusted you. And now you've told Trucy one of my biggest secrets. This calls for punishment." He headed towards the back of the office, and came back with a track suit and a blue beanie. "I now pronounce you...Hoboroki for the week. You'll have to wear this, no matter how much you get teased."
Re: An Average Day At Work
He took the track suit and the beanie from him and looked at them sighing. "You're joking, right Mr. Wright?" He set the suit and beanie aside on the couch. "You know if I walk around wearing this, no one will take me seriously while I'm investigating. I can't go into a courtroom wearing this, I'll look like more of a fool then the judge..."
I was...expecting something completely different. And...whats a Hoboroki?

Re: An Average Day At Work
"How do you think I managed?!" Phoenix barked at him. "For seven years, too!" He sighed and sat down at Mia's desk. "You don't have to wear the outfit," he said quietly.
Re: An Average Day At Work
At first he had no way to react but eventually sat down next to the suit and beanie. "Mr. Wright, if you need help with any other cases, I can help you know. We don't have to split cases up. If we both tackle the same case, I'm sure we can finish them in record time!" He smiled, determined to cheer him up.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Are you sure?" Phoenix asked stiffly. "I gave you a pretty easy case, Justice." He looked over his own cases. "You're just a rookie. And I'm an Ace Attorney. Do you really want to go on investigations with me?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
He smiled. "Every attorney needs their assistant, right? You always had Maya follow you around, and same goes for Trucy and I! Since I'm an attorney too, if we have to speak to two or more people that day, we can split up and assign people and places to investigate!"
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Alright," Phoenix agreed reluctantly. "If you're totally sure you can keep up with me. I tend to go pretty fast." Another thought occurred to him, "What's going to happen to Trucy while we're off investigating?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
He paused for a moment and sat down poking his forehead. Since they would both be out that would leave Trucy alone at the agency. "Well, she's sixteen isn't she Mr. Wright? Some kids get left home days at a time when they're sixteen. But if you still feel uneasy about it, we can ask Ema, or Mr. Gavin."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Ema's on vacation," Phoenix pointed out. "And no way is that man going anywhere near my daughter!" he frowned. "He's a rockstar. Not exactly a clean, safe, not sexual, babysitter for her."
Re: An Average Day At Work
He continued pondering. "Aha! I've got it Mr. Wright! We can ask the Kitaki's! I helped them out in one of my cases! They used to be a mob gang..." He said, rubbing the back of his head. "But they're good now! I'm sure one of them wouldn't mind!" He smiled, liking his idea.
Re: An Average Day At Work
Phoenix sighed, "Nevermind. I trust her enough to leave her home alone for a small bit." He had his reservations about his darling Trucy keeping company with an ex mob. "She'd be better off practicing magic for the Wonderbar."
Re: An Average Day At Work
He smiled. "Then you can let her stay home, and Mr. Eldoon can check in on her every so often." He smiled once again, now that the situation had been set up, he was finally going to go on a case with Mr. Wright. "I'm ready to tackle the hardest case Mr. Wright."
Re: An Average Day At Work
Phoenix smiled at the idea, "Sounds great, Polly! Alright, let's go investigate!" He began to head out the door. "You think she'll be okay?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
He nodded and closed his eyes. "She may be a little clumsy, but she's actually very witty. For example, this one time, I was in court, I thought I had lost, but she used that Mr. Hat of her's and saved me in time. I of course, came out on top!" He opened his eyes and noticed that Phoenix had already half left the room. He hurried after Phoenix, grabbing the files of the first case.
Plus if anything happens, I can just check the camera I left in my room...

Re: An Average Day At Work
"You're right," Phoenix nodded. "C'mon, our defendant is waiting at the detention center. I need to get more facts from him in regards to his alibi." He looked back at Apollo, smiling.
Re: An Average Day At Work
Apollo quickly caught up with Phoenix and rubbed the back of his head. "You've got your priorities straight haven't you Mr. Wright?" He asked as he knew he had to pay attention during these next few days, he would be watching a pro do his job.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"I need to have them straight," Phoenix shrugged. "It kind of comes with being an Ace Attorney. Are your priorities straight, Polly?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
"You bet Mr. Wright. I'm ready for the first case. Speaking of which, what's this case about? Who's our client?" He tried to slow his questions down, but wanted to get as much information early on as possible.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Ron DeLite. Accused of murdering wife Desiree DeLite with a pistol." Phoenix answered. "Though it seems pretty open and shut, there are a few flaws in the prosecution's argument."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Wait, Ron DeLite, wasn't he...Now I remember! He was the master Thief Mask * DeMask wasn't he? Your client is a master thief Mr. Wright!" He began to worry, since he had heard the name before.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"I know," Phoenix nodded. "But he's innocent. I know he didn't kill Desiree. They were too in love for that."
Re: An Average Day At Work
He nodded reassuringly. "If you believe he's innocent, Mr. Wright, then I know he is too." He followed Phoenix all the way to the detention center and waited inside.
