Re: An Average Day At Work
"Yeah, he did," Phoenix sighed as he entered the office. "Hey, Chief!" He smiled at her and sat down next to Mia. "I have some questions for you."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"What is it?" Mia continued to watch the news. "Keep in mind that I just came back from the Prosecutors' Offices and Franziska von Karma just attacked me. Don't push me too hard."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"It's true Mr. Wright, I was there to witness it...She had to get invited into a room AND offered coffee. You should have seen it! It was devastating!" He chuckled a little and went off into the other room to continue his reading on Ron DeLight.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"It's just one or two questions," Phoenix smiled reassuringly. "Why have you been spending so much time with Edgeworth?" He looked up at Apollo. "Polly, watch this. This is how you cross examine witnesses."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"I already know how to cross-examine a witness Mr. Wright. You stare with an angered look in your eyes until you feel a pain in your wrist, then you concentrate until all you see is the witness and an LSD educed background. Then you stare into the very recces-es of their soul until they tell you what you want. Right?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
"WRONG!" Phoenix yelled, pointing his finger at Apollo. "You stare into the very recesses of their soul with this magatama!" Clutching his magatama, he stared deeply into Mia's eyes. "Chief. What have you been doing with Edgeworth?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
He quickly dug through his pockets and sighed. "I dont have a magawhata." He sat from across the room he watched, pulling out his now signature lawn chair and bag of popcorn as he began to watch.
Re: An Average Day At Work
Five psyche locks appeared in front of Mia. "I can't tell you, Phoenix. Not yet. And I don't think you have any evidence to prove what we've been doing." She smirked, and went back to watching the news. "Courier boy, share some of the popcorn," she held out her hand.
Re: An Average Day At Work
He got up and walked over to her, dropping some popcorn in her hand. "My name's Apollo." He hurried his lawn chair next to the couch and began to watch T.V. with Mia.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Come on, Chief," Phoenix begged. "I need to know! Please tell me what you and Edgeworth have been up to!"
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Stand aside Mr. Wright. I know how to get her to talk!" He moved the popcorn out of her reaching distance and stood in front of the T.V. "Now you have nothing else to do but tell us when you went to speak to Mr. Edgeworth that day!"
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Never," Mia replied calmly. "I refuse to tell you anything until the time is right. Mr. Justice, please move out of my line of vision. This is an interesting news program."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"OBJECTION! The news is never interesting!" Phoenix brandished his finger yet again. "You'll tell us the truth, or else!" He held up his magatama. "Polly, do you have any evidence?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Actually, I do have evidence!" He smiled and nodded. "You see, at first everyone just called me Polly. Until one day at Mr. Edgeworth's office! He was the first one to call me 'Courier Boy'. Only people there that day could have known that people called me that! Which proves that she was there that day!"
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Damn!" One of the psyche locks broke. "I admit, I was there, but you'll never know what I was doing! At least...not today," she smiled smugly. "You'll see. Good things come to those who wait, Phoenix."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Great job," Phoenix rolled his eyes at Apollo. "We all know Mia was there, but I don't know what she was doing, Polly."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"I know she was there to discuss something with Mr. Edgeworth...but that's all I can say. I don't have any proof of that though." He sighed as he had just begun to think they were getting somewhere.
Re: An Average Day At Work
Mia smirked, "Exactly. I was there. But I won't tell you what I was up to." She held her hand out for popcorn. "Polly?"
Re: An Average Day At Work
Phoenix sighed and accepted defeat. "Fine, Chief." He held out his hand for popcorn as well. "Polly, popcorn."
Re: An Average Day At Work
He sighed taking two more bags of popcorn and handing one to each of them. He returned to his lawn chair and sat down. "So...what happened in the great big world of nothing today. Let's let an idiot in a suit fill us in."
Now, we need to be able to prove why she was there...it's gonna kill me if I don't find out!

Re: An Average Day At Work
Phoenix exchanged a look with Apollo. "Do you think she might be having an affair with him?" he muttered so only Apollo could hear.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Affair? Didn't she say she was dating Godot? And she stopped you from going to see him too, either she's putting up a nice charade for the cameras, or there might be something going on. We should check this out..."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Right," Phoenix nodded. "We gotta check more into this, Polly. Maybe warn Godot about this affair."
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Right. Whoever he is, he deserves to know. Let's just leave Mia here for now." He quietly got up handing Mia some more popcorn. "Here, take it, I don't want anymore...I've just uh...got to go check up on Trucy." He eyes shifted back and forth as he slowly walked out the door.
Re: An Average Day At Work
"Me too," Phoenix nodded, taking his popcorn along with him. "You know how Trucy is."
